Milled radiator guards KTM EXC, Husqvarna, GasGas 2024-2027

RG15 fits bikes from model year 2024 and with the fan installed. It is not for two-strokes with TPI injection. The guards bent from 4 mm aluminium sheet are RG17 (full front, no fan), RG17 F (full front, with a fan), RG18 and RG18 F (open frame). The external braces are RG03.

A radiator on an enduro bike is a thin aluminium core with fins. In a fall onto its side the core bends or twists, the channels crack and coolant leaks out. Without coolant the engine overheats quickly, so a punctured radiator usually means being towed home. RG15 protects the radiators against bending and impacts at the front and sides.

The guards have enlarged mounting sockets and cross-braces that increase their stiffness and strength. The large opening in the lower part makes it easier for mud and leaves to drain. The set weighs 0.82 kg, which is 0.60 kg less than RG17 F (1.42 kg), also a full guard for bikes with a fan.

RG15 is made from milled AlMg3 aluminium (EN AW-5754, PA11). The other radiator guards for 2024–2027 (RG17, RG18) we bend from AlMg3 sheet (EN AW-5754, PA11), 4 mm thick, and TIG-weld.

The kit contains guards for both radiators and the mounting hardware. The guards fit with the fan installed, and fitting is quick and easy. No drilling or changes to the bike are needed.

We design the guards from a 3D scan of the specific bike and mill them on CNC machines in Katowice, Poland. Professional riders test every new model before it goes on sale.
