OXA pipe guard KTM EXC, Husqvarna TE 250/300 2017-2019

The guard fits a new, unbent OXA expansion chamber. It does not fit the stock OEM, FMF, DEP or Fresco. For the stock expansion chamber there is the PG01, and for Fresco the PG22. For model years 2020–2023 use the PG19 for OXA.

A dent in the expansion chamber changes the power delivery, because the expansion chamber reflects the pressure wave back to the cylinder, and its shape is matched to the engine.

The OXA expansion chamber runs low under the engine, so rocks and logs hit it first. The PG20 encloses it in a rod cage that does not collect stones or mud. You can easily clean the exhaust and the underside of the engine.

We TIG-weld the PG20 from 304 stainless steel rod containing about 18% chromium and 8% nickel. After welding we clean and polish it. The chromium forms an oxide layer on the surface that slows rusting, so the guard stands up to water, mud and salt.

You bolt the guard on at four points, two upper and two lower. It needs no drilling or changes to the bike. You can fit it on its own, with our SP01 (aluminium), SP12 or SP13 (HDPE) skid plates, or with plastic plates, for example KTM Six Days and Acerbis.

We design the pipe guard from a 3D scan of the bike and cut the parts on CNC machines in Katowice, Poland. Professional riders test every new model before it goes on sale.
