OXA pipe guard KTM EXC, Husqvarna, GasGas 250/300 2024-2027

The guard fits a new, unbent OXA expansion chamber. It does not fit the stock OEM, FMF, DEP or Fresco. For the stock expansion chamber in these model years there is the PG10, and for FMF Gnarly and Fatty the PG15. For OXA on TPI two-strokes from 2020–2023 use the PG19.

The OXA expansion chamber, like any expansion chamber, works on the reflected pressure wave that returns to the cylinder. A dent changes the shape of the chamber and with it the engine's behaviour.

The PG21 surrounds the expansion chamber with a rod cage and takes the hits that would otherwise land on the pipe. The design does not collect stones or mud, and you can easily clean the exhaust and the underside of the engine.

We TIG-weld 8 mm rod of 304 stainless steel. After welding we clean and polish it. Steel with about 18% chromium and 8% nickel is covered with a thin oxide layer that protects it from rust in water, mud and salt.

You bolt the guard on at four points, two upper and two lower. It needs no drilling or changes to the bike. You can fit it on its own or with our SP08 (8 mm HDPE) and SP16 (8 mm HDPE with a linkage guard for Husqvarna and GasGas) skid plates.

We design the pipe guard from a 3D scan of the bike and cut the parts on CNC machines in Katowice, Poland. Professional riders test every new model before it goes on sale.
