The same kit covers all three brands, because the cable and bracket are shared. You can get the fan together with radiator guards in the RG04 Fan Set, for the same bikes. For newer KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas models choose the kit for your model year: the KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas 2017–2023 kit, the one for carburettor two-strokes 2017–2019, or the TBI 2024–2027 kit.

The slower you ride, the less the radiator does, and in hard enduro you often stand still or ride at walking pace. The coolant then heats up faster than it gives off heat, boils and escapes through the overflow. The fan pushes air through the radiator when you are standing still too. It does not replace a healthy cooling system: coolant, cap and sealed hoses.

The fitting kit contains a SPAL VA32-A101-62A axial fan, a radiator bracket, a cable ending in an original KTM connector, a sensor (thermo switch) that fits to the radiator through the fins, a fuse, and bolts and rivets. You fit the thermo switch directly in the radiator, so you do not cut hoses or wiring looms. The SPAL fan is the same model KTM fits at the factory on the Erzberg and Hardenduro editions.
