Radiator fan kit KTM EXC, Husqvarna 250/300 17-19 – carburettor

This is the kit for carburettor two-strokes. For the TPI versions choose the KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas 2017–2023 (TPI and 4T) fan kit. You can get the fan together with radiator guards in the RG01 Fan Set and RG02 Fan Set, in the two-stroke version, for KTM and Husqvarna 2T from 2017–2019.

A two-stroke enduro bike runs hottest at walking pace, when almost no air flows through the radiator. The coolant can then boil and escape through the overflow, and every loss makes cooling worse. The fan pushes air through the radiator when you are standing still too. It does not replace a healthy cooling system: coolant, cap and sealed hoses.

The kit contains a SPAL VA32-A101-62A axial fan, a radiator bracket, a cable ending in an original KTM connector, a switch-on sensor that fits to the radiator through the fins, a fuse, and bolts and rivets. You fit the sensor directly in the radiator, so you do not cut hoses or wiring looms. The SPAL fan is the same model KTM fits at the factory on the Erzberg and Hardenduro editions.
