Oversized pipe guard Beta RR 250/300 2018-2026

The guard fits a new, unbent stock (OEM) pipe and does not fit FMF, DEP or Fresco exhausts. The standard PG07 has three mounting points and weighs 2.03 kg. For the Beta RR 200 2T there is the PG23, and for the Beta Xtrainer 250/300 the PG12.

Compared with the standard PG07 (3 points, 2.03 kg), the X version has an extra side mounting point and is larger. The guard weighs 0.39 kg more and takes hits on four points instead of three. The larger cage reaches further and protects more of the pipe, right up to the bend at the cylinder.

The expansion chamber of a two-stroke sends the pressure wave back to the cylinder, and its shape is matched to the engine, so a dent changes the power delivery.

The rod cage takes the hits that would otherwise land on the chamber. The design is open, so it does not collect stones or mud.

You mount the guard at four points: upper, side and two lower, with no drilling and no changes to the bike. You can fit it on its own or together with the SP06 plate (8 mm HDPE, 1.24 kg). With plates from other brands you need to drill two holes for the lower mounting bolts. All the mounting hardware is in the kit.

We TIG-weld the pipe guard from 304 stainless steel rod (about 18% chromium and 8% nickel). After welding we clean and polish it. We design the shape from a 3D scan of the bike with the stock exhaust and cut the parts on CNC machines in Katowice, Poland. Professional riders test every new model before it goes on sale.
