Made in Poland4 mm AlMg3 aluminium (EN AW-5754, PA11) skid plate (bash plate) for Beta Xtrainer 250 and 300 two-strokes, model years 2015–2026. It covers the frame, engine, starter motor and covers, and the stiff sheet keeps its shape after an impact. The mounting bolts and washers are in the kit. It works with the PG12 pipe guard, but does not fit the Beta RR.
The plate does not fit the Beta RR. For the Beta RR 250/300 two-stroke from 2013–2026 there is the SP06, an 8 mm HDPE plate with a linkage guard.
The plate covers the frame, engine, starter motor and covers from underneath. Without a guard, those parts take the hits on rocks, roots and logs. A cracked case or cover means an oil leak, which usually ends the ride, and replacing a case means splitting the engine.
A stiff sheet spreads the impact force across the whole plate and its mounting points, so a rock does not hit the case at a single point.
PA11 is the Polish designation for the alloy AlMg3 (EN AW-5754), aluminium with about 3% magnesium. It resists corrosion even in salt water, which is why boats are built from it. We bend the plate on a press brake and TIG-weld it on both sides. After welding we clean and polish it.
Aluminium copes better with sharp rock edges than plastic, and a 4 mm sheet is thinner than an HDPE plate, so it leaves more ground clearance.
The kit includes the mounting bolts and washers. You mount the plate at the front on a bracket and at the rear on a single bolt with a brace that stiffens the mounting, with no drilling and no changes to the bike. The SP22 works with the PG12 pipe guard.
We design every plate from a 3D scan of the specific bike and cut it on CNC machines in Katowice, Poland. Professional riders test every new model before it goes on sale.
