Skid plate + pipe guard GasGas EC 250/300 18-20, Rieju MR2 21-25

The guard fits only the stock (OEM) pipe with no markings. It does not fit FMF exhausts or the newer OEM pipe marked TECHNIGAS. For the GasGas EC 250/300, 2021–2023, there is the PG05 (6 mounting points, 2.30 kg), and for the 2026 Rieju MR Pro 300i the PG18 pipe guard and the SP17 plate.

The guard covers the engine cases and covers from below, and the expansion chamber at the front and side. On a two-stroke the pipe runs low under the engine and is the first thing to meet rocks and logs. The expansion chamber sends the pressure wave back to the cylinder and its shape is matched to the engine, so a dent changes the power delivery. Replacing a cracked case means splitting the engine.

Internal supports hold the guard at a fixed distance from the pipe, the frame and the engine. The shape is made so that the guard does not collect mud and stones, and a large hole at the lowest point lets mud out.

You bolt the guard to the bike at four points, two at the front and two at the rear. All the mounting hardware is in the kit.

We bend the guard on a press brake from 4 mm PA11 aluminium (AlMg3) sheet and TIG-weld it on both sides. After welding we clean and polish it. The alloy, with about 3% magnesium, resists corrosion even in salt water, is stiff and keeps its shape.

Fitting needs no drilling and no changes to the bike. We design every guard from a 3D scan of the specific bike with the stock exhaust and cut it on CNC machines in Katowice, Poland. Professional riders test every new model before it goes on sale.
