Made in PolandTPS guard (throttle body guard) in AlMg3 aluminium (EN AW-5754, PA11) for KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas 250/300 two-strokes with TBI injection, model years 2024–2027. It covers the throttle position sensor together with the wiring and connector under the throttle body and replaces the factory plastic cover. Two-strokes with TPI injection (KTM and Husqvarna 2018–2023, GasGas 2021–2023) have a different injection layout, and there is a separate TPS guard for them.
The TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) sits on the throttle body and measures how far you open the throttle. The engine control unit uses that to set the fuel quantity and ignition. In TBI (Throttle Body Injection) the injector also sits in the throttle body, while in the older TPI the fuel went into the transfer ports of the cylinder.
A damaged sensor or a torn-out wire gives uneven running, no response to the throttle or stalling. The factory plastic cover does not cover the connector and wiring under the throttle body. The aluminium TPS2 covers them together with the sensor and takes the hit in a fall.
You remove the factory plastic cover and bolt the TPS2 in its place at two factory points, using the factory bolts. You do not drill anything and do not modify anything.
We design the guard from a 3D scan of the specific bike and cut it on CNC machines in Katowice, Poland. Professional riders test every new model before it goes on sale.
