Oversized pipe guard Sherco SE 250/300 2019-2024

The guard fits a new, unbent stock (OEM) pipe and does not fit Fresco or DEP pipes. The standard PG13 has four mounting points and weighs 2.05 kg. For the Sherco 250/300, 2025–2026, there is the PG24.

Compared with the standard PG13 (4 points, 2.05 kg), the X version is larger and holds on to the bike at five points. It weighs 0.31 kg more and protects more of the pipe, right up to the bend at the cylinder. The other features are the same: 8 mm stainless steel rod, TIG welds, cleaning and polishing after welding.

The pipe of a two-stroke is an expansion chamber: it bounces the pressure wave back to the cylinder and sends the mixture back to it. The shape of the chamber is matched to the engine, so when the pipe is dented the wave returns differently and the power delivery changes.

The pipe runs low under the engine. The rod cage takes the hits from rocks and logs, and the design does not collect mud or stones.

304 stainless steel rod contains about 18% chromium and 8% nickel, so the steel stands up well to water and mud. You mount the guard at five points, with no drilling and no changes to the bike.

We design the shape of the pipe guard from a 3D scan of the bike with the stock exhaust and cut the parts on CNC machines in Katowice, Poland. Professional riders test every new model before it goes on sale.
