Made in PolandPipe guard (exhaust guard) made of 8 mm stainless steel rod for the stock (OEM) pipe on Sherco SE 250 and 300 two-strokes, 2019–2024. It protects the expansion chamber from dents on rocks and logs. You bolt it on at four points with no changes to the bike. It fits only a new, unbent stock (OEM) pipe (not Fresco or DEP), and on plates from other brands, such as Acerbis, AXP or Crosspro, you drill two holes for the lower bolts.
The guard fits a new, unbent stock (OEM) pipe and does not fit Fresco or DEP pipes. The larger PG13 X has five mounting points, weighs 2.36 kg against 2.05 kg for this guard and protects more of the pipe (the belly), right up to the bend at the cylinder. For the Sherco 250/300, 2025–2026, there is the PG24.
The expansion chamber bounces the pressure wave towards the cylinder and sends the mixture that escaped into the exhaust back to it. The shape of the chamber is matched to the engine, so a dent changes the power delivery.
The pipe lies low under the engine and is the first thing to meet rocks and logs. The PG13 surrounds it with a rod cage that takes those hits. It does not collect stones or mud, so you can easily clean the exhaust and the underside of the engine.
We make the whole guard from 8 mm 304 stainless steel rod (about 18% chromium and 8% nickel). After TIG welding we clean and polish it. Chromium forms an oxide layer on the surface that protects against rust, and the rod gives a light, stiff structure.
You mount the guard at four points, with no drilling and no changes to the bike. With skid plates from other makers, such as Acerbis, AXP or Crosspro, you need to drill two holes in the plate for the bolts of the lower mounts.
We design the shape of the pipe guard from a 3D scan of the bike with the stock exhaust and cut the parts on CNC machines in Katowice, Poland. Professional riders test every new model before it goes on sale.
