Made in PolandRadiator braces made of 4 mm aluminium together with a complete SPAL fan kit for the Beta RR 4T four-strokes from 2024–2026. On slow, technical climbs in hard enduro the engine heats up fastest, and the fan keeps cooling it at a standstill too. The kit includes a fan with the original Beta plug, a fan holder, and bolts and rivets. The guards protect the radiators from the side against bending and impacts. The front stays open, air flows straight onto the core and the factory radiator shrouds stay in place. The kit does not fit the 2023 models. The guards on their own are the RG20. When fitting, adjust the steering stops by 1.5 turns from fully closed.
- Beta RR 4T: 2024, 2025, 2026
The kit does not fit the 2023 models; for the Beta RR 2020–2023 there are the RG12 Fan Set and RG13 Fan Set. The kit for the two-strokes has its own product page: RG20 Fan Set 2T. The guards without a fan are the RG20. For the same bikes there is also the RG19 Fan Set (1.81 kg against 1.25 kg for this kit). You can buy the fan on its own as a separate kit in the “Fan kits” category.
A radiator on an enduro bike is a thin aluminium core with fins. In a fall onto its side the core bends or twists, the channels crack and coolant leaks out. Without coolant the engine overheats quickly, so a punctured radiator usually means a tow back. RG20 wraps each radiator at the side, and the inner supports brace against the bike's frame and are bolted to it, so the force of an impact goes into the frame. So that the fork legs do not touch the upper spacer bar of the guard, adjust the steering stops by 1.5 turns from fully closed (the last product photo).
We bend the guards from AlMg3 aluminium sheet (EN AW-5754, PA11) 4 mm thick and TIG-weld them. After welding we clean and polish them. It is an alloy with about 3% magnesium, the kind boats are built from because it resists corrosion even in salt water. 4 mm sheet is stiff, holds its shape and stands up well to abrasion. The set with the fan weighs 1.25 kg (with mounts).
The kit includes a SPAL fan with the original Beta plug and a fan holder. When you ride slowly in difficult terrain, hardly any air flows through the radiators, and the engine runs at higher revs while you slip the clutch. The coolant boils and escapes through the overflow. The fan pushes air through the radiator even when you are standing still or crawling along. It does not replace a sound cooling system: coolant, cap and tight hoses.
The kit contains the RG20 guards for both radiators, a SPAL fan with the original Beta plug, a fan holder, and bolts and rivets. You bolt the guards to the frame through the inner supports, with no drilling and no changes to the bike. So that the fork legs do not touch the upper spacer bar of the guard, adjust the steering stops by 1.5 turns from fully closed (the last product photo). This has a negligible effect on the bike's actual turning radius.
We design the guards from a 3D scan of the specific bike and cut them on CNC machines in Katowice, Poland. Professional riders test every new model before it goes on sale.
