For the enduro bikes of these brands there is a separate SP02: the KTM 250 EXC-F and 350 EXC-F and Husqvarna FE 250/350 from 2017–2023, as well as the GasGas EC 250F and EC 350F from 2021–2023.

The plate covers the engine cases, the starter motor and the covers from below. Without a guard these parts take the hits from stones, roots and logs, as well as stones thrown up from the wheels, both your own and those of riders ahead of you. A cracked case or cover means an oil leak and usually the end of the ride, and replacing an engine case means splitting the engine.

The sheet spreads the force of an impact across the whole plate and its mounts on the frame, so a stone does not hit the case at a single point.

PA11 is the Polish designation for the AlMg3 alloy (EN AW-5754), aluminium with about 3% magnesium. It resists corrosion even in salt water, which is why boats are built from it. We bend the plate on a press brake and TIG-weld it on both sides. After welding we clean and polish it.

Aluminium copes better than plastic with the sharp edges of rocks, and a 4 mm sheet leaves more ground clearance under the engine than a thicker HDPE plate.

The kit includes mounting bolts and washers. You bolt the plate to the frame at four points, with no drilling and no changes to the bike, so in an impact the force goes into the frame and not through the bolts into the cases.

We design every plate from a 3D scan of the specific bike and cut it on CNC machines in Katowice, Poland. Professional riders test every new model before it goes on sale.
