Made in PolandSkid plate (bash plate) for the Talaria Komodo, made of 4 mm AlMg3 (PA11) aluminium and fitting both versions: L3e and MX. It shields the motor and gearbox from below, the front and the sides, and a cut-out in the lower part gives access to the drive transmission oil drain plug, so you do not take the guard off for routine oil changes. The plate is CNC-bent, double TIG-welded and fixed at four of the frame's original mounting points, with no drilling. The mounting bolts are included.

| Talaria | Komodo MX | 2025, 2026 (off-road version) |
The plate fits both versions of the Talaria Komodo: the road-legal L3e and the off-road MX.
On the Komodo the motor and gearbox hang low under the frame. This underbody guard shields them from below, the front and the sides, so the plate takes the hits from rocks, roots and logs. A cracked gearbox housing means an oil leak and usually the end of the ride.
Slots at the front, sides and rear let air reach the motor, which is air-cooled. The bike stands on its side stand with the guard fitted.
PA11 is the Polish designation for the alloy AlMg3 (EN AW-5754), aluminium with about 3% magnesium. It resists corrosion even in salt water, which is why boats are built from it. We CNC-bend the plate and weld it with double TIG welds, and the walls bent into a tray shape stiffen the whole plate.
Komodo guards that state their plate thickness are usually 3 mm. Popular competing guards also often have large perforations that weaken the stiffness of the plate, and mounting to the sides of the frame that passes the loads onto M6 bolts. Such bolts bend and can crack.
This plate is 4 mm thick, with narrow slots instead of large openings and four mounting points in the frame's original sockets. The mounting bolts, fitted from below and from the front, do not carry large loads: the forces act on the guard, which rests on the frame. The walls bent into a tray shape add stiffness.
You screw the mounting bolts from the kit into the original sockets in the bike's frame, from below and from the front, with no drilling, and fitting is quick and easy. The bolts do not carry large loads: the forces act on the guard, which rests on the frame.
A cut-out in the lower part of the plate gives access to the drive transmission oil drain plug, so you do not take the guard off for routine oil changes.
